We travelled to China with Explorers, our 10 day trip culminating in a trip to the Gobi Desert to witness a total eclipse of the sun on Friday 1st August, 2008. I will post further photos from our trip in subsequent articles but couldn't resist uploading these straight away! Hopefully in a modest way they can convey at least a little of the majesty of this awesome event.
