This photo journal features many of the grand old homes in Regina’s transitional area that are now mostly occupied by small businesses. The transitional area is located south of downtown in a quadrant between Albert & Broad Streets on the east & west, & College & 12th Avenue on the north & south. It’s an area that has experienced an ongoing transition from largely residential to a mix of commercial uses & higher density residential development.
