Siem Reap is the main city in the region of Angkor (Cambodia). From there we explored the various temples (Wat) of the Red Khmer that was the centre of Cambodian's power from the 9th to the 15th century.

This archeological site is huge and very interesting to see. However, the vast area and the numerous temples cannot be visited in one day. Tourists need to make a big effort to cope with these historical monuments who are testimonials of a prospering age and powerful people.
