This photo journal, part 1 of 2 featuring the communities along Hwy 33, features 6 of the 13 communities that were established along this line - Sedley & Francis + the four ghost towns of Richardson, Kronau, Lajord & Tyvan. [Part 2 will feature the remainder of the communities SE of Tyvan.]

yes these are great ,,as usual,,very good portrail of history when the oil runs out and global warming takes its toll,,,then we will see more of this ...or maybe all these houses etc will become occcupied again by those who are left seeking refuge from the sea ...just a thought ... can we buy these now and avoid the rush ????

I am still envious of your journey through time. These are wonderful. It seems in so many of the abandoned buildings the windows are boarded up but the door is either wide open or gone ... the passage of time?? Love the wildflowers in front of the abandoned building! And what is the story of the artist??
