Ground fire clay was also bagged for sale at various bagging stations in the plant. The bags were filled, weighed & sewn shut with string using an electric hand sewing machine. The bagged fire clay was used by companies & by artists. for example, renowned Saskatchewan artist Joe Fafard used Claybank clay.
