The Neo-Byzantine style was quite popular in Belgium during the twenties and thirties of the 20th century. I like these building because of their sober brickwork on the outside as well as the modern stained glass windows.

Here are pictures of the Christ King and St. Laurens churches in Antwerp city and St. Jozef in Deurne (a district of Antwerp).

During Open Monuments Day (september 14th 2008) these three churches could be freely visited by the public.
