Never in life that I thought I'd come to Gibraltar, a place that is so familiar to all Malaysian students learning about geography of Europe. I'm very proud to announce to my countrymen that I've reached the Point of Europa on foot, the southernmost tip of Europe continent.

Before travelling to Gibraltar, I was with my colleagues in Malaga, a charming port city by the Mediterranean. Along the route to La Linea, the Spanish border town with Gibraltar, we passed by the Costa del Sol and saw many lay-back sea resort towns with swamps of sun-worshippers and old retirees.
