The Roman Forum, the main forum in the center of Rome, is located between Palatine Hill & Capitoline Hill, two of the Seven Hills of Rome. The ancient Roman civilization developed around this central area. The forum served as th central city square & the economic hub of the city. (Please see the introductory text for a bit more info.)
