Burgess Falls, near Cookeville, TN. October 2008 The trail is not that long, but is fairly steep in places. There is a gravel access road (pedestrian only) that goes from the parking area to the overlook at the big falls (end of the trail). The path down to the base of the big falls from the overlook is VERY steep in places and requires care to travel around and over some rocky areas.
