Iguanas are fascinating. These reptiles range from Mexico down to Central and South America. Some species have become endangered, while others are bred and raised on farms eventually to be eaten by people. They look fierce, but are actually quite docile, and many people keep them as pets. Not a good idea, since they require certain temperatures, hard to regulate by amateur owners.
