We don't know the meaning of this representation of Krishna riding a horse composed of four gopis, who look like making part of the horse's body. We have found, however, in the web a reference to a North-Indian watercolour from the XIXth century showing a similar representation with nine gopis, so that some known meaning is likely to exist.
