The Lenghenhof consists of 4 different courtyards joined by different passage ways and 2 common entrances. The main entrance dates to 1755. This courtyard was build to accomodate "needy women and widows of soldiers who died for the fatherland". To date still only women with lower income are allowed to live here. No men are allowed to stay overnight. The main entry to the courtyards closes at 6 pm; the second gate closes at 9 pm.
