Of the 30 columns left standing today, only 16 still have their capitals. It was restored in 1787. Because the temple was set ablaze by the Carthaginians in 406 BCE, evidence of burning is still visible on what remains of the cella (inner chamber), which was toppled by an earthquake in the middle ages. </div></nolayer></noembed>
