These days, the theater hosts “Taormina Arte”, an International review festival of cinema, theater, ballet & music, which takes place every year during the summer months. Part of the Taormina Arte festival program is the the well-known Taormina Film Fest, the new home of the Cinema Festival of Messina & Taormina that began in 1960.
