The Reservoir was opened in 1982. It is one of Melbourne's principal water supplies, and the environment is very picturesque, surrounded by the Christmas Hills. The main walking Track circumnavigates the Reservoir, passing through unusual forest, with eastern grey kangaroos nearby!
