This photo journal, part 2 of 2 in the Taormina set, includes street shots, shopping, & a few photos of our fun Sicilian evening/party. Charming Taormina has winding medieval streets, & narrow passageways & stairways, each with its own secrets great restaurants, sidewalk cafés, gelato bars, & sparkling shops, most located in wonderful old balconied buildings built centuries ago. Taormina may be beautiful by day, but the evenings are even more enchanting while you stroll romantically lit streets & passageways, or take in the coastal view over a delicious Sicilian dinner, or see the rare nocturnal spectacle of steamy Mount Etna with its red lava flow visible along the slopes.
