Although some may include an Autogrill restaurant, like this one, where you can sit down to eat, most just have several coffee/deli counters where you choose what you want to eat, then line up to order & pay, then line up again with your receipt to pick up. (It’s not that bad unless a tour bus arrived just before you.) They have hearty deli sandwiches, mostly grilled cheese & Italian cold cuts, & folded pizza sandwiches. They also have fresh pastries & croissants. I can vouch for their double chocolate muffins which were exquisite ;o) You then stand to eat your food by leaning on a bar or a tall small bar table. If you’re lucky, you’ll be sharing the bar or table with an interesting, handsome local who drove up in a Ferrari LOL
