<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> Statue of Saint Antonino<br> Sightseeing in The Amalfi Coast picture - who took refuge in Sorrento during the Lombard invasions &#38; became the city&#39;s patron saint. I could not find much information about this saint. He was born in Campagna, a town near Salerno, came to Sorrento &#38; died there in 471 or maybe 830 (both years show up in my research). He was abbot of the Benedictine monastery at Saint Agrippo for a time &#38; apparently performed miracles. He is also the patron saint of navigators. Please see the intro text for a little more background information about the Campania region &#38; Sorrento. </div></nolayer></noembed>
