The fact that the church will reach the age of 300 years in 2014, makes it plain that this all-wooden structure, built without a single nail being used, was erected by craftsman who knew what they were doing. Just one example of the skill that went into its building, is the fact that the aspen shingles each had to be individually shaped in order to fit the particular position it had to take within the totality of the roof.
