The city of Agra, with the Red Fort and the universally famous Taj Mahal, is an obligated destination in the Indian tours. People uses to go there directly from Delhi or Jaipur, and to spend just the time required for the city tour. When we were designing our trip, we realised, however, that other places near Agra could deserve some attention, and following the recomendations of Enchanting India we arranged a three-nights stay at Bharatpur, almost 50Km from Agra.
