At the time of our visit, Tuban (South Kuta) Beach was being reclaimed and there was a lot of work being done. Sand was being brought in and groins were in the process of being built. The beach paved walkway from Kuta was also in the process of being extended to Tuban.

Anyone going to Tuban area, I recommend the Pantai Restaurant. Great food, reasonable prices.
