Raja's Seat is situated in the center of Madikeri town, the administrative headquarters of Kodagu District, in Karnataka. It was the place where the kings of Kodagu spent their evenings while enjoying the spectacular sunsets. In fact the place was named after this.

This beautiful hilltop offers spectacular view of the Coorg Valley studded with paddy fields and forests. The magnificent sunset view from the top of a hill is an awe-inspiring one. The blue mountain ranges of the Western Ghats can also be seen at a distance.
