In October, the Embassy had a day trip to the Kitengala Glass Factory outside Nairobi. There's a Belgian lady who decided to find a good use for recycled glass. She is an artist and makes beautiful glass pieces that she sells. We took a tour of the grounds and walked through all kinds of funky statues and saw some animals, like ostiches and zebras. It was a neat way to spend the day.
