A tornado in Hawaii is about as common as seeing a polar bear surfing on Waikiki Beach. But, this afternoon, it happened. According to the news report one did touch down this afternoon and did some damage to a golf course (thankfully!) and no one was killed. The sunset I saw and photographed was probably the aftermath of that cloud formation. It did make for a very unusual sunset scene.... (Photos were taken with a Canon S3IS)
