This photo, looking north on the Rue du Pré-aux-Clercs toward an intersection with the Rue de l’Université, is where our hotel, the Hôtel Saint Thomas d'Aquin (http://www.hotel-st-thomas-daquin.com/), was situated. The picture was taken directly in front of the hotel entrance, which is actually just out of frame to the right of the small tree. The Seine was about three blocks beyond Rue de l’Université.
