As tender, N. C-U Exposed to Hard Use
Ontario picture - Even though NO CATCH-UP turned out to be an ideal boat for us, being dragged up on rocky shores was not what her designers had had in mind for her. Yet, in the waters where we were sailing, there really was no way of avoiding it. At the end of many seasons of sailing, NO CATCH-UP was often in need of yet another patch of fiberglass. Gradually she became heavier, but also stronger and less fragile. She would not likely have won any Mirror Dinghy races, but that, after all, was not what what had been her destiny.
