Talaria can be seen, surrounded by rocks in what we called "Our Cove". Often as vessels passed by us on the channel though the "Back Door" of the Benjamin's we could hear the astonished voices of their crews. "Now how did they manage to get in there?" It really wasn't that difficult if you had prepared the tying up ahead of time. There never was any difficulty going in. The water was deep and so long as mooring lines were attached and ready, Talaria would stay exactly where you wanted her. But, if you did not know what would be needed, it looked like a scary place to enter. As a result, never once in many years of visiting the Benjamins did we find "Our Cove" occupied. My problem on this particular visit was that I could hardly expect my eighty year old mother to climb the rocks and prepare the lines. So, as a result and encouraged by a favourable forecast, I anchored in the big bay between the North and the South Benjamin Islands.
