In January, my friend Lorraine asked me if I wanted to do a day trip on Martin Luther King Jr's b-day and we drove to Lake NAivasha, about an hour and a half from Nairobi in the Great Rift Valley. It was an absolutely beautiful drive past Mount Longonot. We went to the Lake Naivasha Country Club and paid about $1 to get in and we sat outside and had some lunch while gazelles came up around us.
