Photo: Steve Granitz --- Iranian born Firooz Zahedi, here seen with Raquel Welch, is one of America's foremost prominent celebrity photographers. A protégé of Andy Warhol, he worked with Interview Magazine in the mid-1970s where he became acquainted with Elizabeth Taylor, who took him to Hollywood as her personal photographer in 1978. I don't think there is one Hollywood star or famous singer who has not posed for Firooz Zahedi! Google his name an click on "images" and you'll see what I mean. In the late 1980s he began working with the prestigious and renowned international publication Vanity Fair. His name is imprinted in the history of photography alongside great photographic masters such as century’s photographic greats like Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts and Annie Liebovitz.
