Please pardon, in advance, some of the "Tongue in Cheek Humor" associated with some of these pictures. January 2009. Sunrise from the deck of the house we rented in Holiday Florida for the months of Jan-Mar. It backed onto the Anclote River. From here we were able to see great wildlife such as white egrets, pelicans, and dolphins. The dolphins we saw only for a few seconds swimming up, then back down the river, then they were gone. The Anclote river leads out to the Gulf of Mexico.
