Margo, our dog Mocha, and tons of Spanish moss. Some of these heavily festooned Live Oaks are reported to live as much as 300 years. We also saw smaller trees that had succumbed to moss – perhaps there wasn’t enough free space for their leaves to grow? There is an example in the second last photo in this article.
