I just discovered this space on WorldIsRound dot com (thanks to Paul Alesi http://www.worldisround.com/home/pja1/index.html), and I want to take advantage from it and its users, in order to plan my future vacation, hopefully in Salzburg, Austria.

My wife still wants the sea, and I want the mountain. There were some options in between, such as Annecy, France, because there is water (Annecy Lake), and mountain. There is also the tallest mountain in Europe nearby: Mont Blanc at about 80 km to the South-East. Eventually we decided to go to Salzburg which is nearer.

So I want to get the best attractions in Salzburg and nearby thanks to viewers of this post who visited and enjoyed this great Austrian region.

I will also try to post whatever I find interesting on the web related to Salzburg.
