On the 5th of February the altar of this church is filled with dolls. Dolls with velvet dresses, some in little cribs, some with crowns, frills, lace, others in little chairs, others just sitting in a row. Evidently the priest blesses them and then they are carefully put away, perhaps to appear as the Baby Jesus at Xmas time in the creche?
