One interesting place was "Le Petit Sablon", a beautiful garden that represents an important piece of history for Belgium.
Here is what is written on the entrance plate: "Inside the Petit Sablon square, the white Carrara marble sculptures represent the heroes who fought against Spanish tyranny or intellectuals and scientists from the 16th century. They all have in common the fact that they devoted their lives or conquering their freedom of thought."
Except of the marble statues inside the garden, each of the columns of the garden's fence have on top of it a statue which represents a particular trade, or craft, or occupation.
I did not shot photos of all the statues in the parc, but now that you know its name, you can explore the web for additional information. Good luck!
