African Savannah
Zoos & Wildlife Parks in Seattle picture - A view of the Woodland Park Zoo's African Savannah exhibit, taken from the schoolhouse in the zoo's African village. Pictured here are damara zebras and a reticulated giraffe. In addition to zebras and giraffes, the African Savannah is also home to animals like gazelles, hippos, lions, patas monkeys, fringe eared oryxes, and African wild dogs. Opened in 1979, it is among the oldest (and best) African Savannah exhibits in the world.
