Kuangsi was a tower of champagne-glass limestone formations until the middle section of the cliff that the falls tumbled over partially collapsed in December 2001. Now the water falls down the sides only & is less impressive. The falls are still beautiful, but less so, although they would be more spectacular in rainy season.
