In April this year my daughter and I attended the Melbourne International Garden Show and it was a great experience, one well worth travelling from New Zealand for. The bright colour of the flowers was a sharp contrast to the dry, burnt-out pastures we flew over as we landed at the airport. This was our second time at this show, the first being in 2007, and it was excellent both times.
