This crumbling edifice, which has suffered due to the ravages of time, is still awesome in size and structure. It was built almost entirely in laterite & brick, which is less durable than the pink sandstone, with the main architectural elements in sandstone. Much of the intricate carvings & detail have been worn away by rain and erosion. Plants have begun to grow on the central towers.
