For the first time in many years, I traveled to Washington, DC to photograph the cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin. Alas, I missed the height of the blossom season by about a week. While there were still some blossoms to be seen, the combination of time, wind, and rain had eliminated many of the blossoms. I still got some photos but not what I was hoping for.

I also made a quick stop in New York City to visit B and H Camera, the largest camera store in the country. There too, the weather did not cooperate. It was rainy and cold for most of my visit to both places.

Because of the weather, the photos I took are not what I hoped for but I hope you enjoy them.
