The Penang Floral Festival 2009 was opened to the public on 31st. May. Themed Colourful World Of Flowers, this years' event was officiated by Toh Puan Hjh. Majimor, consort of Penang's TYT. The orchid exhibition and competition is organized by The Federation Of Malaya Orchid Society, FOMOS.
