From the top of Mary's<br> Scenic Hikes in Wyoming picture - We will walk out on that ridge then head down. Some of the first photos of the Grand Tetons were taken from this point in 1870 by William Henry Jackson. He would have had to carry his equipment including the glass plates to develope the pictures. There are photos of him and his assistant and donkey with their equipment up here. No chairlift for them.
