The first floor of building A was used for interrogation & torture. The eight rooms had only a metal bedframe, leg cuffs, and a pot used as a toilet for the prisoners. Prisoners were allowed to empty the pot only once every two weeks. All prisoners were taken for interrogation two or three days after they were brought to the prison. Most prisoners were held there for two to three months.
