Its two mile width is the largest in the bay. The Grand Pacific moves through softer dirt and ground than the other glaciers, so there are lots of landslides and supraglacial moraine material that cover it. Because of this it is easy to overlook the fact that this is indeed a glacier. And what a glacier! It&#39;s 25 miles long! This is a slower glacier: it moves about four feet per day. </div></nolayer></noembed>
