Istanbul is a city that connects Europe and Asia. It has always been a strategic place politically/Militarily/ and socially. It was called Constantinople and Byzantine. The River is called Bosphorus and this connects the Black Sea and The Sea of Marmara. This also Connects and in a way separates the two continents. There are several Mosques in the city and the most popular are the Hagia Sofia (which is now a museum), The Blue Mosque, the Suleymaniya Mosque and the New Mosque ( Yeni Cami).
