Relaxing beach town in Central California is where we vacationed this summer. We decided we wanted a healthy vacation so picked out this area where we could walk on the beach, hike and shop at Farmer's Markets. Our daughter and son-in-law joined us and did all of the cooking! Cayucos is located half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco on Highway 1. There is a pier but no marina, no stop light; just a quiet little town.
