The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers 2009 starts on the 18th September and goes for a week or so. As Queensland has just had a hot spell, we decided to miss the crowds and visit the festival gardens early. The flowers this year are spectacular, considering that the whole region is on Level 5 water restrictions.
