Only 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver is a 55 acre botanical paradise. The VanDusen Gardens opened in 1975 and over the years it has grown and matured to the fantastic oasis that it is now. This visit in September of 2009 was highlighed by the addition of the Zimbabwean sculptures which have been exhibited all over the world
