While it is still HOT in Phoenix, we sought out the cooler weather of Northeastern Arizona. East of Flagstaff is the historic and interesting town of Winslow, Arizona. Winslow was brought to the world's attention when The Eagles memorialized the town in their song "Take it Easy"; And as the lyrics go... "Standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona." So, we went and stood on the corner......in Winslow, Arizona. We also visited the historic hotel "La Posada" which is a destination in itself.
