Although Sir Winston Churchill was born here in Blenheim Palace, he didn't grow up here or spend a considerable amount of time here back in his younger days nor did he have any ownership or clout to this estate, as contrary to popular belief. In fact, it is said that the only considerable time he spent here was that day he was born!:) *It is said that Sir Winston birth here was rather an accident. That his mom was visiting here (since she is a relative) late in her pregnancy but suddenly went on labor. 'Ya know, even us do visits our relatives on special occasions but we don't spend a considerable time in their homes (e.g. growing up in their estate!)
