*I can't quite remember the interesting story of these numerous wares such as:

- how they were brought here as "gifts" (that's an expensive gift just like the palace itself!)

- the political/diplomatic favors involved with these expensive gifts,

- & some other deals made involving these precious wares.

But if I remember one factoid right, it is said that some of the precious wares here were sold some years ago [at various times] for a hefty price (since they are really antique) so as to finance the up-keeps of the palace.

'Ya know, castles & palaces are extremely high-maintenance!
